Development and characterization of a low-NOx partially premixed hydrogen burner using numerical simulation and flame diagnostics – ScienceDirect

In this work a hydrogen burner was developed, numerically optimized and experimentally characterized. The burner is characterized by stable operation even with a lean mixture. This was achieved by optimizing the nozzle geometry and air humidification.
